SVA

We are very experienced in making sure that your imported vehicle is compliant with the single vehicle approval (SVA) regulations for imported vehicles. The single vehicle approval scheme is a pre-registration inspection for cars and light goods vehicles that have not been type approved to European safety requirements. The main reason of the SVA is to ensure that these vehicles have been built to meet safety standards before they can be used on British roads. Most imported vehicles are unsuitable for use in Britain without some modifications, the main part of this modification being the exterior lighting.

Upon request, we will apply for the test on your behalf. We will carry out all the work that is required to meet the SVA requirements, and then present the vehicle to the testing station.
Upon receipt of the ministers approval certificate (SVA pass certificate) vehicle can be registered.

We can also handle MOT testing as required (an MOT is needed if the vehicle is over 3 years old).

Collection and delivery of vehicle can be arranged if necessary.
